Im Alison, ASW #117550

Hi! I'm Alison, an Associate Clinical Social Worker dedicated to providing compassionate support to individuals facing life’s challenges. I have worked at the community college level, supporting students from diverse backgrounds and with a variety of challenges. I believe in creating a supportive therapeutic environment where individuals can explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors in a safe space. I am skilled in EMDR and DBT methods that allow clients to learn new ways to regulate their nervous system and heal from all forms of trauma.
My eclectic modality allows me to tailor my approach to the unique needs of each person I work with. I am particularly fond of working with other young women seeking to find breakthrough and healing in the early stages of adulthood.

I help college-aged and young women heal from trauma, depression, attachment injuries and relationship issues.

EMDR is a powerful and effective method to help the brain and body reprocess disturbing memories in a way that creates new and healthy ways of thinking and feeling.

Do you find that you need strategies to:
-
overcome intense anxiety?
-
reduce depression?
-
heal from traumatic memories or experiences?
-
recover from a difficult or neglectful relationship?
-
process grief and loss that will not let go?

"Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer"
~Romans 12:12
