Supervised by Ashley Cox, LMFT #91052
Hi there, I’m Jenna Testa, an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in trauma-informed care and Emotion Focused Therapy, with a focus on helping individuals, couples, and families heal from past trauma and build stronger, more resilient relationships. My approach is rooted in understanding the impact of trauma on relationships and utilizing evidence-based techniques to facilitate emotional healing and improved communication. I am committed to providing a safe and supportive space where you can explore your experiences and develop healthy coping strategies.

Outside of therapy, I am a mother to two children and two Labradors and a wife, in which we love to spend most of our time outdoors hiking or somewhere with water. I would love to come alongside you and your family to support you in your healing journey.

I help teens, young women and couples overcome intense feelings of anxiety, anger, and relationship issues.
Through authentic conversation and skilled methods such as CBT and EFT, we work toward reduced distress and foster more relational safety and connection.

Do you find that you need strategies to:
-
reduce anger?
-
decrease anxiety and overwhelm?
-
better understand your partner?
-
recover from an abusive relationship?
-
improve understanding with a teen or loved one?

"Sometimes, the journey begins with letting go of who you were and embracing who you are meant to be."
About Jenna
I have an extensive history working with children with behavioral disorders in a variety of areas. I began my therapy journey working directly with children on the spectrum and children with ADHD on the island of Oahu, HI while doing my undergraduate at the University of Hawaii at Manoa in 2016.
I continued with my love of helping others by pursuing my Masters degree in Clinical Counseling at Point Loma Nazarene University in 2020. While being an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist I have worked alongside children in both elementary school and middle school settings; ran court-ordered men and women domestic violence group therapy, parenting group therapy, and anger-management group therapy; and I have helped the overall status improvement in my clinical clients.
I offer in-person and online sessions. Please reach out to set up a consultation.
